From left to right these are the carving tools included with the wax melter kits.
1. The wide strip cutting knife is used for cutting wide (approximately 1/4" to 3/8") wax strips. The knife is made of stainless steel with a wood handle.
2. The narrow/medium strip knife is made to cut narrow (approximately 1/8") and medium (approximately 3/16" to 1/4") wax strips. The knife is made of stainless steel with a wood handle.
3. The curved end knife** is very useful when you slice into a flat or slightly convex surface. The knife is available as a right-hand or left-hand knife... when ordering please specify. The knife is made of stainless steel with a plastic handle.
4. The long bent end knife** is the most used knife by candle carvers. The bend in the knife helps you to cut on a ridge without disturbing the adjoining ridge or curls or slices which may already be there.
5. The short bent end bent knife** is especially useful for making a flat spot on the candle. The knife is available as a right-hand or left-hand knife... when ordering please specify. The knife is made of stainless steel with a plastic handle.
6. The top cutter is made specifically for making the cut at the top of the candle around the candle handle. The tip of the knife is rounded and dulled, so that the blade does not catch and ride-up on the candle handle. The knife is made of stainless steel with a plastic handle.
